Maxvidel Limited Website

Maxvidel Limited is a consultancy practice based in Abuja, working on monitoring and evaluation, advisory engagements and development sector projects with organisations ranging from Nigerian agencies to international bodies. They had no web presence. This was a ground-up design and build.

We designed the site direction, drew reference from the development consulting aesthetic and built a custom WordPress theme from scratch. No page builders, nothing inherited from a parent theme. The full content model runs on ACF Pro, with custom field groups covering every editable section: the hero slider, team profiles, project details, statistics counters, testimonials, client logos and footer configuration.

Projects are managed as a custom post type with two taxonomies: Service Area and Project Status. Each project carries a client name, duration, location, contract value, key outcomes and a photo gallery. The archive page filters live by service area, which matters for a consultancy that works across several distinct practice areas.

The homepage is built from independent sections: a configurable hero slider with up to six slides and a choice of fade or slide transition, a statistics counter for headline figures, vision and mission cards, a projects showcase, a rotating testimonials carousel, a client logos strip that sits greyscale by default and switches to full colour on hover, and a call-to-action banner. Every section is editable from the WordPress admin without writing a line of code.

Testimonials and team members each have their own management screens. Team member ordering is drag-and-drop. The site is fully responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop.

The design uses Forest Green as the primary colour, Gold as the accent, Playfair Display for headings and Jost for body text. Professional without being sterile, appropriate for the sector.
